Police officer pay in more states, and sheriff's deputies, as we collect the data

This page will compare police officer pay across states. For now it covers every California city police department and police district; in New York the NYPD, Nassau and Suffolk County police, Buffalo police, the Port Authority Police and the MTA Police; in Utah, 80 city police departments and police agencies; and in Kentucky, the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD). County sheriff's deputies get pages of their own. Each state publishes local government pay differently, so we add states one at a time, after checking their files.

Until then, each state's page has everything we've published so far.
